of the panzer goggles, the glaciers can be worn as "normal"
sunglasses. Despite a similar aspect at first glance, those glaciers
are totally different from my other goggles: the frame has been machined
to provide a wider visual field (less tunnel effect compare with my
other goggles), the lenses are made of impact resistant glass and
are rated for eye protection against UV400 . The lenses rest on a
thin gasket, they are bolted with stainless machine screws (M3 socket
head), diameter of the lenses is about 43mm and of course leather lining (it's less sweaty than silicone/rubber).By the way I have improved a lot the padding compare with my earliest models, this leather lining couldn't be more comfy and durable. aluminium frame is featherlight to wear compare with the brass models. |
